County Attorney
Responsible for the prosecution of all misdemeanor and felony violations of state law committed within Custer County in state District Court, Youth Court and Justice Court. Coordinated and presented training for law enforcement officers on search and seizure and the investigation of child abuse and domestic violence.
Represented the Department of Public Health and Human Services in adult protective and child dependency and neglect civil proceedings. Provided legal advice to the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, and county boards. Served on the Adult Protective Team, Child Protective Team and the Child Evaluation Center Advisory Board. In cooperation with DPHHS Division of Child and Family Services and the medical community established the Child Evaluation Center. Supervised one deputy attorney, one victim-witness assistant and three support staff. In cooperation with the District Court Judges established a Family Treatment Court and developed the first state district electronic courtroom in Montana.

Deputy County Attorney
Assisted the County Attorney with the prosecution of all misdemeanor and felony violations of state law committed within Custer County. Coauthored the grant for the Victim-Witness Assistant position in the County Attorneyís Office. Provided training to law enforcement officers on the investigation of domestic violence and sexual assault cases.
